THE STORED-VALUE DEBIT ADVANTAGE

The EleVate Payroll Debit Card uses host-based stored-value technology, meaning the account financial balance associated with the card is stored and authorized centrally on a host computer system versus on the physical card itself.

The card is linked to an account that manages the card's credits and debits in real time and cannot be overdrawn. It is only possible to spend the money that is in the card. Monies deposited or withdrawn are immediately reflected in the account balance and can be used for purchases just like a MasterCardþ.

Funds are loaded to an EleVate card directly by the employer. An employee may also choose to load funds onto their card directly themselves. The card is perfect for payroll dispursement, payment from another employer, insurance claim payments, disability payments, etc. It is easy and cost effective, for a cardholder to transfer funds from their card to another card given to a family member or a friend anywhere. Using the payroll debit card for funds transfer significantly reduces the high transfer rates charged by traditional money transfer services, thus keeping more money in the employee's pocket.

The EleVate Payroll Debit Card can do more than just deliver payroll on payday. Termination pay, exception pay and expense reimbursements are easily done via the Payroll Debit Card. Employers can also provide the Payroll Debit Card to their traveling employees specifically for additional identification, convenient per diem payments as well as other important expense payments employers want to manage and track (i.e. gasoline and lodging).
